What could be more fun than tackling a dog costume? When approached by CRAFT Magazine to design a canine costume, I immediately envisioned a Pug Pirate, complete with knickers and a parrot on the shoulder. Short of an eye patch and peg leg, this buckaneer was a real salty dog.

I love this costume, very creative. I downloaded your pattern, but I am still confused how to increase the size of the pattern. Your instructions say that it will be on the pattern download, but I do not see it. I am a novice sewer and would really love to know how to expand the pattern for a larger dog. Thanks.
